Analytical Disclaimer & Limitations
This disclaimer sets out the scope, purpose, and inherent limitations of all analytical outputs produced by the CHEVORA platform. Read this document before acting on any report.

Core principle
CHEVORA reports are analytical intelligence outputs derived from official public sources. They are not legal opinions, audit reports, financial assessments, investment advice, or regulated professional outputs of any kind. Every claim in a report is traceable to a specific source, and every limitation is explicitly disclosed within the report.
1.What a CHEVORA report is
A CHEVORA report is the output of an automated evidence intelligence process that:
- Queries official registries, public databases, and authorized data sources
- Structures the retrieved data into a standardised analytical format
- Applies source-coverage logic to identify what was checked, what was found, and what could not be verified
- Generates a timestamped analytical report with explicit evidence traceability
Each report carries a cryptographic timestamp (Bitcoin OpenTimestamps) binding the PDF to a specific moment in time. The timestamp attests to report existence and content at delivery — not to the truthfulness of third-party source data.
2.What a CHEVORA report is not
A CHEVORA report does not constitute:
- Legal advice or legal opinion — not signed by a licensed lawyer and does not create a solicitor-client relationship
- Audit or accounting opinion — not performed by a registered auditor; financial data is sourced from public filings and carries no audit assurance
- Regulatory certification — not a KYC/AML certification, PEP clearance, or sanctions-free certificate under any regulated regime
- Investment advice — not a basis for investment decisions without independent financial advisory
- Guarantee of completeness — source availability varies by jurisdiction, registry API status, and query date
- Criminal background check — criminal record data is governed by Art. 10 GDPR and is permanently excluded from automated CHEVORA outputs
3.Source and data limitations
Source availability
Each jurisdiction has a governed source pack. Not all sources are available in all jurisdictions or for all entity types. Where a source could not be queried, the report discloses this explicitly as a source limitation — not as a negative finding about the entity.
Source currency
Data reflects the state of official sources at the date and time of query. CHEVORA does not update reports automatically. Registry data may not reflect events that occurred after the query timestamp.
Source accuracy
CHEVORA queries data as published by official sources. If a registry contains incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information, that information will be reflected in the report. CHEVORA is not responsible for inaccuracies in third-party official sources.
API and registry downtime
Temporary unavailability of a registry API results in a source limitation disclosure in the report, not a negative conclusion about the queried entity. Limitations do not imply that findings would have been negative had the source been available.
Financial data
Financial analysis is based on publicly filed statements where available. For entities that do not file public financial statements, financial analysis cannot be performed and this is disclosed as a data limitation within the report.
4.Source-to-claim principle
Every factual claim in a CHEVORA report is traceable to one or more source queries. Claims are not extrapolated beyond the available source data. Where data is absent or a source was unavailable, the corresponding section discloses the limitation rather than asserting a finding.
The phrase not confirmed in a report means the information was not found in the queried sources within scope — it does not mean the opposite conclusion has been established.
Interpreting coverage and confidence scores: Coverage and confidence indicators reflect the breadth and quality of source data successfully retrieved. A high coverage score does not guarantee completeness; a low coverage score indicates that fewer sources were available or queryable for the relevant jurisdiction or entity type.
5.No replacement for professional advice
CHEVORA reports are designed to support — not replace — professional legal, financial, compliance, and due diligence review processes.
For high-value commercial decisions, regulated transactions, complex multi-jurisdictional structures, or matters with significant legal or financial exposure, CHEVORA strongly recommends:
- Engaging licensed legal counsel in the relevant jurisdiction
- Commissioning a licensed auditor where financial assurance is required
- Using a regulated AML/KYC service where regulatory compliance certifications are mandated
- Verifying critical findings against primary source documents supplied by the counterparty
6.Report usage and interpretation
Reports must be interpreted together with:
- The source coverage section, which identifies which sources were queried and which were not available
- The limitations section, which discloses explicit constraints on the analysis
- The timestamp, which identifies the query date and time
- The product tier, which defines the scope of sources included
A report delivered at a specific point in time cannot reflect subsequent changes in registry data. For time-sensitive decisions, CHEVORA Monitoring (where available) or a fresh report should be commissioned.
7.AI-assisted analysis
Where CHEVORA uses AI-assisted text generation for narrative analysis, the underlying factual data is derived from official source queries — AI is used to structure and express those facts in natural language, not to generate them independently.
AI-generated narrative text in CHEVORA reports is governed by the source-to-claim principle: all asserted facts must correspond to retrieved source data. CHEVORA operates a source-truth governance framework that flags and prevents AI hallucination of registry or financial data.
AI-generated analysis does not constitute a legal, financial, or regulated professional opinion.
